Molex has introduced the Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (QSFP+) interconnect solution suitable for all applications including switches, routers, host bus adapters (HBAs), enterprise data centres, high-performance computing (HPC) and storage. The components of Molex QSFP+ Transceivers include an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding cage, a passive cable assembly, an active cable assembly, an optical MTP cable assembly, an optical loopback and a 38-circuit SMT Ipass host connector. Molex QSFP+ Transceivers deliver data rate of 10Gbps and are INF-8438 and SFF-8436 compliant. These transceivers are mechanical form factor with latching mechanism, host-board electrical-edge connector and cage. These hot-pluggable transceivers integrate four transmit and four receive channels plus sideband signals. Molex QSFP+ Transceivers can replace up to four standard SFP+ transceivers, resulting in greater port density and overall system cost savings over traditional SFP+ products. QSFP+ Molex Transceivers from Cozlink feature the Ipass contact design, also implemented in other standards such as PCIe, SAS, SATA, Ethernet and Infiniband and provide four balanced differential channels featuring isolation and bandwidth, with durability cycling up to 250 cycles. Cozlink produces QSFP+ Transceivers that are fully interchangeable with other QSFP+ MSA approved brands such as HP, Juniper, Brocade, Finisar, Prolabs and many others.
